Inaugurated in 2010, Terra Botanica is presented as the first park of interactive encounters with the world of plants. Open from mid-April to the end of August-beginning of November, it offers on 11 hectares of gardens, aquatic basins and greenhouses, punctuated by around forty attractions around four universes on the theme of plants: coveted, tamed, generous and mysterious. The fortress of Angers and the Tapestry of the Apocalypse
The castle-fortress of Angers, impressive with its kilometer-long walls and its 17 towers, houses, exhibited in its gallery, an exceptional work: the Apocalypse Tapestry which is the largest medieval tapestry in the world. The Jean Lurçat museum, located in the Saint-Jean Hospital, a very beautiful 12th century building, presents a monumental set of ten tapestries "Le Chant du Monde", a contemporary homage to the "Teinture de l'Apocalyse" by the painter-cartoonist Jean Lurçat, produced from the 50s in Aubusson.
