On the Burgundy wine route

Burgundy has around a hundred appellations in five wine-growing regions that extend across three departments between Lyon and Paris.

- The Mâconnais around Mâcon
- The Challonaise Coast
- The Coast of Nights
- The Beaune Coast
- Chablis

It is also worth adding Beaujolais, legally attached to the Burgundy vineyard since 1930, it is nevertheless a very particular wine-growing territory, with its own identity, even if it shares a territory and practices with Burgundy.

Nuit Saint Georges, Gevrey-Chambertin, Aloxe Corton, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, Vosne Romanée... These are all names that are synonymous with great wines throughout the world. The Burgundy vineyard is nevertheless very vast with more than a hundred appellations that are classified according to a hierarchy at the top of which we find the prestigious grands crus, then the premiers crus, the communal and "Village" denominations and, at the base, the regional appellations.

The tourist route of the 33 great Burgundy wines offers a marked route from Dijon to Santenay via Beaune, punctuated by 37 villages. There are two vineyards on this route: the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. To be discovered by car or, gently, on foot or by bike, along the greenways.
