The hotel is in dire need of renovation and is in need of a major overhaul. A glove was found near the shower/bathtub, a long hair was in the sink, a plastic cup was missing, and the curtain needs replacing as it is worn and in poor condition. The front door was dirty.
Too isolated from restaurants, and the exterior is not maintained. Breakfast for 2 people was average: one baguette for 2, 2 mini chocolate croissants and 1 croissant, no cold cuts.
Positive: good bedding, close to the motorway.

de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is prima in order. We've had two different cameras since December. Eén kamer was behoorlijk koud ondanks verwarming op de hoogste stand. De andere kamer was lekker warm.
Ook this item is of price/quality verhouding in order.
Prettig was dat de kamers verspreid over het terrein in de vorm van Paviljoens; het geeft extra privacy.

While it was freezing outside (-1°C) and after a six-hour drive, the employee gave us the key to a room where the only heating for the bedroom and bathroom was a small electric radiant heater fixed to the wall. The temperature in the rooms was only 12-14°C, and we kept our jackets and down coats on before going straight to bed, hoping to get a little warm. We couldn't use our computer or the TV. We couldn't use the shower, etc., because it was so cold! (The employee told us, without a hint of irony, that the heat would arrive after a few minutes of operation and that "it was cold outside!"... Note that after a night of operation, when we woke up, it was still just as cold.) It is unacceptable that the hotel cannot provide a properly heated room in winter, equipped with a heater sufficient for the size of the room!
Note that I had rented a room at this hotel twice, decent value for money... But that was in July and September!
I would specify all of this if I were to recommend the hotel.

We had booked online and also called to request a room at 12:15 PM. We were told: no problem... but there was no one at reception when we arrived. After another phone call, we were told to wait 10 minutes. And to top it off, the room wasn't ready. The cleaning was extremely rushed. No sweeping or vacuuming. Only one towel for two people.
But the bedding is very good and you can't hear any noise.

What a scam! We had made a reservation at the Fasthotel in Mâcon. Surprise upon arrival: Fasthotel no longer exists! By booking through the Fasthotel website, we ended up at the Charme Hotel! The room smelled awful, there were no sheets, and the hygiene was extremely questionable! We demanded a refund and found a room at the Brit Hotel in the center of Mâcon. This is definitely a scam on the booking website!

The room was clean but had no shutters. There was just a curtain in front of the window, so the room was bright all night due to the parking lot lights, and I was woken very early by the sunrise. The night was very average, especially with the constant coming and going of trucks in the area during the night. There was minimal interaction with the staff.

The room and bathroom were outdated, there was an unpleasant smell, the coffee wasn't good, and the breakfast wasn't worth much.

The hotel has moved since last year and kept the same name "Fast Hotel", but it has nothing to do with what is currently the "Brit Hotel".

By the way, this one is called HOTEL CHARME…???????, not indicated on the reservation, I thought I must have made a mistake…

Everything needs to be reviewed: the impersonal and rushed welcome, the dated, aging furniture in the room, barely clean, and the unmade bed...so we made it ourselves. The soundproofing was terrible; we could hear our neighbor's phone conversation, who thankfully spent the evening outside...then came back and was suddenly seized by a coughing fit in the night, charming! The breakfast was extremely meager, with industrial sliced ​​bread and very little choice. It's the complete opposite of the Fasthôtel Macon Sud, with its friendly welcome and local products at breakfast. Why such a difference under the same brand (although, at the entrance it says "Charme hôtel" and not Fasthôtel...maybe it is a charming hotel, hmm!).

Very outdated with a constantly noisy ventilation system that makes it impossible to sleep. There's no curtain large or thick enough to block out the window, so outside light enters the bedroom all night. Clean but too old-fashioned; the shower is in a slippery bathtub-like tray without a shower curtain. The shower ventilation system is dirty and moldy inside. The bathroom door doesn't close properly. The sink has no drain plug.

We stayed less than a minute in this "room" with non-existent hygiene and an unbearable smell: stuffy, greasy, cigarette... no sheet, spiders running on the shelf, a flimsy curtain riddled with cigarette holes.
We resumed our journey after throwing the key to the "receptionist" who did not speak French.
Result: €46 lost, €94 hotel in Chalon at the Campanile which I highly recommend.
Does Fasthotel management condone this kind of thing? Are they aware of what's happened to their hotel in Mâcon Nord? I dare them to stay there.

High quality for the price, recommended
A few points to address: significant water leak in the toilet bowl, gate doesn't close, front door is difficult to close, sink is cracked, otherwise the location is very good, but there are many semi-trailer trucks passing by!! Be careful on the road side.
