900m from exit 29 of the A6, the Fasthotel Mâcon SUD is located between the Mâconnais vineyards and the Beaujolais region, southwest of the city of Mâcon, close to the Mâcon-Loche TGV station (600m). Not far by car, you will find the Roche de Solutré, the most famous site of geological interest in the region.
The reception is open on Monday from 7:30 to 10:00 and from 17:20 to 07:00; from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:20 and from 08:10 to 17:20. Saturday from 08:10 to 18:20 and from 8:10 to 00:17 and Sunday and public holidays from 20:7 to 00:XNUMX and from XNUMX:XNUMX to XNUMX:XNUMX. During the Christmas holidays, the reception is open from XNUMX:XNUMX to XNUMX:XNUMX and from XNUMX:XNUMX to XNUMX:XNUMX (breakfast possible from XNUMX:XNUMX if necessary).
Outside reception opening hours, an automatic key distributor by credit card is at your disposal. A telephone service is provided 24 hours a day. The hotel has 24 rooms.
The restaurant "La Gioia" is located just 50 meters from our hotel. Reservations are highly recommended. It has 100 seats and is regularly fully booked, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. Open from Tuesday lunchtime to Sunday lunchtime. Closed Sunday evening and Monday.

The mattress was very firm (I weigh 62kg), I didn't sleep very well unfortunately.
The shower and sheets were clean, but there's a bit of grime that accumulates here and there (baseboards, bathroom ledges). A thorough cleaning now and then would be welcome! :)

The hotel is quiet and/or well soundproofed.
A minor disappointment was the lack of savory options at breakfast.
Reserving a few spaces for motorcycles in the parking lot behind the hotel would be a plus.

Simple rooms, not very large but good bedding and spotless.
Highly recommended breakfast. Excellent value for money. Wide selection of sweet and savory items. Most are organic, too. Plus, the waffles are delicious and made right in front of you.

Please note that the fasthotel in Macon nord - that is where I mistakenly went first - is called Brit hotel and the lady at the reception does not know the name “fasthotel”.
Please correct that.

There is a good hope, one note, it is possible to insert some salad into the bowl, but also one type of salad and format. However, it remains an economic and good solution, also for the power of the stanza. If my capital is used, it will come back to the point of appoggio.
