I had ridden 700km on my motorbike in temperatures of 28°C to 36°C and was eagerly awaiting my arrival at the hotel.
And then, astonishment!!! There was no air conditioning in the hotel. I was very tired and didn't want to leave in the stifling heat.
Result: I didn't sleep all night.
